Dimensionism Opens at the Mead Art Museum

“Dimensionism: Modern Art in the Age of Einstein” opens at the Mead Art Museum in one week. Hungarian poet Charles Sirató penned the Dimensionist Manifesto in 1936, in an attempt to spearhead an art movement that would integrate scientific progress with innovative modern art. Drawing on these themes, this traveling exhibition features work by a number of artists, including Helen Lundeberg, who found inspiration in 20th century innovations in science and technology. The exhibition runs from March 28 through July 28.
